International Association of Conference Interpreters (AIIC)

Agency head André Josten is a member of the International Association of Conference Interpreters “AIIC” (“Association Internationale des Interprètes de Conference”). This worldwide professional association of conference interpreters has very strict admission criteria. The choice of the AIIC colleagues for your conference is done by André Josten personally.

Why AIIC?

AIIC members have certified language skills. To become an AIIC member, candidates have to provide proof of at least 200 days of interpreting experience in the booth and to have their language skills checked and confirmed by five other AIIC members.

AIIC members undertake to honour the strictest ethical rules – from professional conduct in the booth, appropriate behaviour at conferences, to their handling of confidential information.
